Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center

The Seahawks basketball team practices and plays home games in the $5.1 million Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center.
The 47,000-square-foot building, which opened in January 2004, houses two classrooms, a fitness center, a dance studio, faculty offices, a multi-purpose gymnasium and a reception center.
The gymnasium can seat 1,400 people for basketball and volleyball.
The building was named in honor of former State Senator Carl Parker, a Port Arthur native, who has a long-standing connection with the college.
